It may be getting hot (kinda like standing in front of 500\u00a0blow dryers), but I still would not trade this\u00a0experience\u00a0for anything. The\u00a0amazing\u00a0people I have had the\u00a0privilege\u00a0of working with, the\u00a0opportunities\u00a0I have\u00a0received, and the friends I have made along the way have all be nothing short of spectacular.<\/p>\n

Working with the Springs Preserve has been amazing I get to work with the public \u00a0in a beautiful garden, which I can now say I am a part of, is a wonderful way to spend my\u00a0Sundays\u00a0at work. I get to work with children and\u00a0discusses\u00a0different\u00a0botany topics, it is really rewarding when you get to see them get\u00a0really\u00a0involved and interested in the lessons. Working in the plant\u00a0propagation\u00a0facility is a great way for Allison and I to work with volunteers and manage watering\u00a0schedule, planting projects, and catalog the species in the facility.<\/p>\n

Still the\u00a0field\u00a0work is the most rewarding\u00a0experience. The fact that I have seen more of the Mojave\u00a0Desert in the four month I have been in Vegas, than most of the people whom have lived in the city for 20 years really makes me\u00a0proud\u00a0of the work I am doing. The\u00a0opportunity\u00a0to explore the\u00a0different\u00a0areas, from\u00a0creosote to pinyons,\u00a0 and brush up on my keying skills is wonderful.\u00a0I would never trade this\u00a0experience\u00a0for anything, I am just amazed I am only doing this for another month.<\/p>\n

And I got to backpack the Grand Canyon south rim to the\u00a0Colorado\u00a0River this week end, so thats cool too.<\/p>\n
