It has been a busy but fairly quiet month.<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>I\u2019ve been inside entering data, doing herbarium work, and working on data cleaning projects.<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>It doesn\u2019t make for facinating blogging, but it\u2019s interesting work.<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>There\u2019s a lot of troubleshooting involved, which I really enjoy.<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>It\u2019s also a great sense of accomplishment to see all of this season\u2019s new rare plant finds, weed mapping, and rare species monitoring get inputted into our database.<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I will be shifting focus in January\u00a0in order to work for the restoration program.<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>In preparation for the change, I\u2019ve been spending time with folks in the program.<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>Throughout the summer, I\u2019ve helped out with the program here and there, working with volunteers on National Public Lands day and helping with planting projects.<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>However, there\u2019s a lot left to learn.<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>I will be doing greenhouse work, working at restoration sites, and helping to write grants for following years\u2019 restoration work.<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n
