It seems like we had just one day of beautiful leaves changing color and then all of a sudden the frost hit hard.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-73091 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/dev-clm-blog.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/IMG_8571-e1475614710505-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"img_8571\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.clminternship.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/IMG_8571-e1475614710505-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/blog.clminternship.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/IMG_8571-e1475614710505-450x600.jpg 450w, https:\/\/blog.clminternship.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/IMG_8571-e1475614710505.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The winter this week has given us snow up in our hills, the line being at about 6,500ft. And hitting us in the valley with no fun snow, but rather the less than stellar freezing temps of 30-40 degrees.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-73088\" src=\"https:\/\/dev-clm-blog.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/IMG_8073-1-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"img_8073-1\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The weather turning has changed the way that we are starting to view the last little bit of our season. With these cool temps and precipitation the need to be properly prepared in the field is something that we are struggling with.\u00a0So used to the hot summer temps that we are forgetting to add that extra layer, to pack those gloves, to trade our baseball hats for stocking caps<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>.<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-73089\" src=\"https:\/\/dev-clm-blog.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/IMG_8231-300x158.jpg\" alt=\"img_8231\" width=\"300\" height=\"158\" \/><\/p>\n<p>But with the cold weather and snow brings some absolutely breathtaking views of the mountains.
