After traveling across the country I passed through beautiful areas\u00a0including the Badlands\u00a0in South Dakota, Yellowstone and the Oregon coast but none compared to how at home I felt in the forests of Oregon. About 4 miles from the house I&#8217;m living at! <span id=\"dscexpitem_1424360441_2\"><em>Plectritis congesta<\/em> <\/span>(Sea blush)\u00a0in foreground.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>My dear friend and fellow botanist in New York would introduce herself to new species, just as you greet a new friend.
