There are seeds that need mailing and forms that need scanning,<\/p>\n
Plants that need filing and labels that need gluing.<\/p>\n
After that, though, there\u2019s something else I\u2019ve been doing.<\/p>\n

I wish I could say we\u2019re programming a drone,<\/p>\n
Nope — just making surveys to fill out on a phone.<\/p>\n

Decimal, selection, and geopoint questions,<\/p>\n
Complex choice filters, calculated suggestions,<\/p>\n
I spend hours pasting huge excel expressions,<\/p>\n
Moping when it crashes upon refreshing.<\/p>\n

And though I\u2019d still rather pick fruits from a tree,<\/p>\n
I do love you and hate you, Survey123.<\/p>\n
Working with you can\u2019t beat picking buckwheat,<\/p>\n
But your relational questions are really quite neat.<\/p>\n

Entering data just once \u2013 wow, what an idea!<\/p>\n
Though making surveys keeps me from Rhus and Piscea.<\/p>\n
I do love creating the ideal survey form,<\/p>\n
But I\u2019d rather be hiking in a summer rainstorm.<\/p>\n

I hope that these hours and hours I\u2019ve spent<\/p>\n
Sitting at a desk rather than camping in my tent<\/p>\n
Will help keep all of the botanists to come<\/p>\n
