Learning these plants is never a bore<\/span><\/p>\n

Heterotheca makes me smile and sneeze,<\/span><\/p>\n

Yellow aster growing along roads with ease <\/span><\/p>\n

Sphaeralcea, the most beautiful orange flower<\/span><\/p>\n

Got the bees pollinating, growin\u2019 in power<\/span><\/p>\n

Sporobolous, Elymus, Bothriochloa, me o\u2019 my<\/span><\/p>\n

Graminoids with an abundance like pie<\/span><\/p>\n

Can\u2019t forget the good ol\u2019 Bouteloua<\/span><\/p>\n

Gracilis, curtipendula, and eriopoda, <\/span><\/p>\n

Their seeds ripen and ready only in the fall<\/span><\/p>\n

The phenology of these plants is such a ball<\/span><\/p>\n

Seasons change, monsoons come and go<\/span><\/p>\n

I love being able to see the shift so slow<\/span><\/p>\n

Fallugia, the puffy seed heads so fun to collect<\/span><\/p>\n

It is meditative focusing my energy on this subject<\/span><\/p>\n

Of conservation, restoration, harvesting plant power<\/span><\/p>\n
