Beautiful Things

Hi everyone!

This internship has been wonderful.  I am in the Rawlins, WY BLM Field Office.  I was lucky enough to start early in April, just in time to get out and witness the sage grouse strutting! I’ve been working on SOS most of my time here, but I also have had the opportunity to monitor Wyoming’s only endangered plant (Blowout Penstemon), and have been able to see TONS of wildlife. I hope you all are having a great time!

It was only the beginning…

Hard to imagine I last saw all of you a month ago, but I hope you have all had a great journey so far! I trust you’ve all experienced a lot, learned a lot, and now is your chance to share it with us and the other interns. I can’t wait to see what you’ve all been up to!

Terrific!

Krissa and Bianca – great job!  This is going to be a terrific way to learn more about the various offices and the CLM interns who work there!  Also, pictures, pictures and more pictures – I’m a very visual person!  Thanks for all your hard work….

An entire month has passed!

Time passes so quickly but I know I’m not the only one with great memories of the 2009 workshop at the Grand Canyon! I was lucky enough to see a few interns in Snowbird, Utah at the Botanical Society of America meetings, but we’re hoping this will be a great space to learn more about what you all are up to on a more regular basis!

We look forward to hearing some great stories and seeing some amazing photos!
