Field full of Reed Canary

Should have been a hilltop prairie

The fire waits patiently for the wind to carry

Weary of species, is it glabrous or is it hairy

Tearing through phragmites she sees a sight thats scary 

Sights of prairie view landfill for the insane

Might be merry if we see a few SandHill cranes

Lobelia siphilitica ( Great Blue Lobelia)
Jonah spotted through the Silphium laciniatum (Compass Plant)
Pluteus longistriatus fungus surrounded by fallen blossoms of Agalinis tenuifolia ( Slender False Foxglove) all growing on a old willow stump in the middle of a wetland
